Mailroom specialist and X-Ray security screening expert, Totalpost Services Plc picked up two awards at the prestigious Warrington Business Awards on Friday night.
The company fought off strong competition to pick up the Customer Excellence Award. This was awarded in recognition of Totalpost’s commitment to quality products and good customer service. In particular it was noted that in recent years Totalpost had taken manufacturing in house to take full control of quality and delivery times. This is a move which has led to the company becoming well known internationally for the quality of the products they produce, particularly franking machine ink cartridges.
Further to this Totalpost were then awarded the Team of the Year Award. This was in acknowledgment of the company’s export team who have worked together to develop a clear exporting strategy. This has led to great international success with the company selling over 40% of their franking machine ink cartridges overseas.
Speaking about the awards on the night, Communications Manager at Totalpost, Kate Simpson says: “We are delighted to have been recognised at this prestigious business event. The whole of the Totalpost team is working really hard to accelerate growth especially internationally so it is really good to receive this external recognition for our efforts.”
Earlier this year Totalpost was granted a Queens Award for Enterprise in International Trade recognising their export success over a three year period.
Already in 2013 Totalpost has opened companies in France and South Africa and are currently in the process of opening a further company in Germany. This is to complement the strong existing operations across the UK and in the US.
The awards event on Friday night (12th July 2013) was held at the Royal Park Hotel in Stretton, Warrington. A fantastic event it was a real celebration of business growth in the Warrington area and recognised the talent pool of business that are based here. Over 200 business people attended and enjoyed a full nigh of entertainment.
